Pete Pasha Guitars, Lead Vocals
What can you say about our dynamic lead singer? Having played the Orlando area for over 30 years, and still playing solo gigs, he is the man that makes it all happen. His voice on several songs is enough to bring you to tears. I’m getting a bit moist myself right now… During his younger days, he backpacked across Ireland, singing and playing for his life, as apparently he was looking pretty good looking compared to sheep. I digress. He knows over 5,000 songs and has a singing voice that not many other bands have.
Greg Reitano Guitars, Keyboards, Vocals
A Berklee Graduate, works as our Musical Director. If you don’t like what we’re playing please let him know about it. Really, don’t talk to me, it’s his job. Greg makes the band rock and roll, his keyboards, guitar and vocals fills out the Alter’d Boys sound. He is also playing in a Billy Joel tribute band in South Florida, oh, please don’t get him started. Greg is married to his beautiful wife Sandra. We were amazed too!
Ralph Gray Drums
Ralph, formerly played with Bo Diddley and Dr. John, and is one of the greatest drummers in Orlando, if not the state! He makes the band so tight, my underwear bunch. Married to Janie and have 2 great kids, Leila and Sarah! Ask him to play like Steve Gadd, Bill Bruford or any other style drummer. You’ll be amazed.
Or
Frank Carbone Drums, vocals
Frankie!!! Having got his chops at clubs like CBGB’s in the heyday of wackiness, he has toured and played enough gigs to, well, fill a small planet? This fine and upstanding Mets/Jets fan is married to Debbie and several wonderful children that haven’t done anything bad yet.
Bob Roth Bass, Vocals, Bitchin, Moaning, Manager
I have been playing since 7. Played my first paying gig at 13. My mom drove me to the gig. First a guitarist, I have moved to bass to let 2 great guitar players Pete and Greg, strut their stuff. Playing bass has given me a new perspective on the complexity of the instrument as well as being able to make people do that thing with their neck. Fender forever, except for Gibson and Paul Reed Smith. I am married to the band critic, personal assistant, marketing manager, fun maker, get everyone up to dance manager, Patty. Thank you for all you put up with. Now about that new mixer… (update: new mixer and case ordered) I have no children, I am one.
Dave Ski Sound Engineer
You can’t actually be a local band and have Dave as your sound engineer. It’s like having Paul McCartney saying, “hey, can I play in your band?” Dave has worked with, well, everyone. Britney, Angels & Airways, Seal, Jeff Beck and of course, The Alter’d Boys. Dave makes the band sound better than it really is. He brings big time knowledge to our band. Thanks Dave. Dave may be leaving the band to go out on tour later this year. But, he too shall come home…
Lawrence Vexler Percussion, Sax
Laurence is a phenom on Percussion. He can play trap or anything that is made to make percussive noises. He is a great addition to the band as he plays 3 saxes that just give the sound that extra punch! He also owns RainTree Stuidos, a full service Recording Studio. He likes Mel! It’s a girl, back off.
And if needed we have other members that can sit in at any time!
